pilot Screentime together with hella mineralbrunnen have made history in Germany by installing the first industry class transparent refrigerators in Germany’s top supermarkets. The highly innovative refrigerators with transparent Full-HD displays are presently installed in nine selected supermarkets in Hamburg, Germany. Alongside the logo and slogan of the northern German mineral water company the transparent screens show the whole of hella’s product line-up with a focus on new products ranging from classic soda, to water with flavour, spritzers and lemonade. Product information, campaigns, general eye-catcher videos and dynamic content such as weather appear at regular intervals on the screen. Relevant retail store information such as opening hours can also be displayed on the screen. Big German retailers such as Rewe, Edeka or Famila have taken part in the roll-out so far.
